A very underwhelming, disappointing vino nobile di montepulciano. It's thin, tannic, a bit bitter, lacking fruit and matter. It's becoming better after a while in the glass it's probably one of the worst example I have ever had. The nose shows cherry notes, almond and a tiny bit of nail polish remover. The palate is acid driven, lacks width and matter, showing cherry and almondy notes mostly. Tannins are livery in the rear, making the wine rather harsh and difficult to enjoy on its own. The finish is acid driven, quite bitter, with a bit of fruit and leaving a very drying layer. Not the best example of its kind.

Blackberries on the nose with a good mouthfeel but had a bit of funk. Grapes: sangiovese, canaiolo, merlot
