Really nice Amarone! 2013. All the classic flavors. Wonderfully paired with Japanese curry.

Great fruit with few tannins. Decayed for an hour before enjoying over beef.

Really needed to open up. Better the next day. Decent for longer next time - 30 min. at least. Not very heavy for an Amarone but still smooth. Bought on WTSO.

Nov 14th, 2017Fat yet silky with a clear ruby red tint! Great out of the bottle with a smokey bacon fat,after it opens there is a lot of earthy minerals,well integrated mild tannins,with a fat body,very old world with more mineral notes than red fruit...I'm in love with you Amarone!!
