A great wine from one of our favorite Tuscan wineries that we visited on our honeymoon in 2014. Clear deep Ruby color and full bodied with high acidity. Low intensity nose with red cherry, leather and spice notes. Red cherry, leather, spice and earth notes on the palate leading to a smooth low tannin medium length finish. Delicious, well balanced wine with good depth. Great value!

Undeniably well made- just not for me. Too hot and over extracted, not to mention outrageously overpriced. The addition of 25% Petit Verdot completely overpowered what was probably a delicious and delicate Cabernet / Sangiovese blend.
