October 2, 2021. Dinner w/Jack D, Dean, Bridget. Wine no. 1. I have had this several times — first at Allegrini’s Villa delle Torre. 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Such a good wine! Dark fruit, smooth balanced tannins. I could drink this all night.

Too young to drink. Very strong and tannic, even after hours of breathing. Pepper aroma and flavor. Very acidic. I imagine this bottle will be great in 5 years.
