I knew this was going to be good from the first hint and it didn't take long to fully reveal its perfume of violets, crispy smoked bacon, loam, spiced black cherry, and some secondary wisps of a maritime breeze. It's even more striking and intense in the mouth. Rich fruit runs through the mid-palate like silk and finally gives way to the savory finish of rhubarb, loam and baking spice that lasts.
