Matot Langhe Rosso Nebbiolo Blend
Blend of Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, and Barbera. Bright cherry, dark bramble fruit, fun blend! Highly recommend!

Feb 27th, 2018This could be a wonderful house wine or BTG selection in any proud Italian restaurant of good repute. Not terribly complex, but available for as little as $10 USD makes it a steal in my estimation. Medium-bodied with decent structure. More Dolcetto character showing in this blend, and there is a distinct white pepper and garrigue shining through that I enjoy very much. Solid little table wine that needs food but is not lacking in fruit or acidity.

Jan 19th, 2018Glass of this and 6 Calm Cove oysters for $14 during happy hour at Bar Mingo. Seriously, does it matter how good it was or if it goes together? It's pretty plush, ripe and "big boned" though.
