Massive nose after 1 hour decanting. Deep nose of crushed dark berries and forest floor. Hints of cassis and cherry. First quaff is full throated Chianti. 2007 vintage is fantastic. Deep Lavender and ripe plums on the finish. Let this open and enjoy with braised beef - but I'm thinking cassoulet. Chilly Fall goodness in your hand.
