Solid wine, fruit forward but complex enough if you're paying attention. Good by itself. Good with food. Quality fruit for the money.

It was a bit tart so we decanted. Much better after but not awesome. I got raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of lemon zest for primaries, not sure on the secondaries. Probably will never have this one again.

Dark garnet in color, nose of dark & jammy fruits and light earth. Very smooth, medium body, dark plum & dark berry. Medium acidity, low tannins and a pretty good finish. We think better than the avg 8.6 it presently has in Delectable.

This was NOT planned! But 59 weeks ago we had the 2018 vintage and met Gavin.
Today I take the BFF to have nachos after Yoshitomo… and I want him to meet Gavin and have great nachos.
I pick out this wine and after it’s opened I read my notes….. Gavin it was meant to be!
fruit forward….light….. simple…. Nothing special which is disappointing for willamette.

May 28, 2021 Happy birthday starter wine. OMG! beautiful salmon color. So many flavors. Stone fruit tart red fruit, a bit of earth. Didn’t seem as simple to me as other reviewers noted. Hope to have this again and again.
