A fantastic medium bodied red blend. 60% Tannat & 40% Merlot. Refreshing nose of plums, ripe raspberry, and violet. Great $11 wine from Uruguay.

Tannat isn't my thing but needed to try my 1st wine from Uruguay. This one missed this mark. Way too bitter and you guessed "tannic". Will have to try another!

Uruguay! Merlot and tannat - leather and tobacco and a lovelyyy acidity. I'm into it.

Nice, full bodied, earthy. Would go well with BBQ beef. Enjoyed it with spaghetti & meat sauce.

Not the best. No complexity. One trick pony. The tannins are the upside, so it would pair decently with red meat. Pisano's 100% tannat is far superior.

Started out dry, which I loved, and then the more I drank it, the fruitier it got. Nice drinkable wine but wish it was a bit more dry.

Decanted for 1hr and nose was a still a bit tight. Milk chocolate and cherries on the pallet. Better with food. Needs more cellar time.
