Earthy and dry with a spicy finish. Really enjoyable.

Deep ruby red hazey hue. Crisp, steely, and a bit spicy. Mélange of dark tingley berries.

Very earthy and dry. Feels like I can taste the barrel a bit perhaps. The after taste is very pleasant.

Been looking forward to trying this Chilean project from the people at La Stoppa for some time; happy to report that despite being a bit brusk, this vino tinto delivers on the combination of high toned density of La Stoppa rossos and smokiness of old vine pais.

100% Paìs. Didn’t get much on the nose (slight dark cherry). Medium-high acidity, somewhat astringent. Leans heavy on tannins, slightly grippy. Pepper and spice notes on the front leading into darker fruits and herbal notes for a long finish.
