I love Zins. For the price this can’t be beat but I have yet to sample a robust amount f zins.

Black-purple color. Smells good. Red fruits and jam. Flavors are decent. Jammy with vanilla. Some woodsy, barrel and needles stuff. It’s a decent little Zin. Hits the notes.

Ok cheap wine for a party. Not as good as my favorite Chianti, but a good filler wine so you don’t have to spend a ton of $ for the night

Hot, overextracted, and harsh. Big and bold. Only sours with time. This would make a great happy hour house wine at a beer bar.
