Pinelli
Reserve Shiraz
On the weekend we popped over to Pinelli Estate for a wee wine tasting and naturally bought a few of our favourite tipples to enjoy over the long weekend. The Pinelli Shiraz ($28) is one of my favourite reds of theirs (alongside the Durif). The cooler weather makes it quite easy to down a bottle in one sitting.
It's virtually opaque on the eye, a deep black plum flesh colour. Juicy berry fruits, black pepper and chocolate covered liquorice bullets entice you on the nose. It has a gorgeous mouthfeel, with juicy mouth puckering flavours. Creamy black fruits, elegant pepperiness and a lingering finish make you keep going back for more.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #TCWeekdayWine
