On my Arizona tour, so tasting as many local wines as I can while I’m here. Purple-red, moderately extracted pigment. Blackberry, blueberry and black licorice notes in nose. Similar flavors in mouth, some skin astringency on finish, but nice rounded mouthfeel overall. Ripe fruity, syrupy, almost plummy aftertaste. Cherry with some plum flavors after four hours. 50/25/25 blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, 14.0% alc/vol, 396 cases made.
