Great standby when the vineyard deliveries are running low. Starts off tart before the oak takes over. Pairs well with smoked Gouda, white cheddar & spicy pickles.

Said it took a medal at the chronicle wine competition. But unless it was for good effort. I'm not seeing it. Not much nose. Light tannins. Slight fruit quality. Otherwise bland. Good spaghetti wine or third bottle wine.
