Making some nice sauce and pasta tonight so had to have some chianti. Good age on this. Really chocolaty and spicy. Dark ripe cherry and fig on the nose. Nutmeg, cacao and cinnamon as well. Pallets has the great tannic structure and astringency that is hope for from a DOCG. A nice wine for sure.
