Cuvée Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Grand Cru Extra Brut Champagne

Bruised green apples and yeast. Not not much more than that unfortunately.

Pale yellow on pour…vivid notes of lemon, quince, yuzu with a hint of baked bread. Medium weight, nice acid/fruit balance. No “wow” here, but nicely serviceable as early summer dinner companion to Veal Piccatta …lemon, butter, capers, champagne… near perfection!
