Good to see French wines with screw caps. Very pale in colour. Aromatic nose with hints of oak maturation. Could have been new world! Please don't try and copy the kiwis!! Not as tropical as the latter.

Bit high on acidity, not the nicest Pouilly Fume. Still enjoyed it with some smoked fish.

Clean, flinty, mineral, middle palate. Perfect with fish, chicken, Asian. Not bad on its own cooking dinner for that matter.

It really needed to breathe, once it was opened up it was a lovely easy to drink wine. Soft balance of acidity & fruits withy a slightly lingering finishing. It definitely grew on me!

Appearance: clear, pale, lemon; Nose: clean, medium intensity, capsicum, green beans, lime, smoke; Palate: dry, high acidity, medium-bodied, lime, powerful but smooth smokiness which creates medium (+) finish. Conclusion: good, great example of Pouilly Fume produced in Loire. Signature smokiness is not overpowering, yet integrates with the acidity and alcohol very well. One reason why it wasn't very good is the fact that it shows inferior existence of other flavours on the palate.
