Admittedly, I didn't really focus on this wine. My quick notes seems to indicate that it's quite elegant - red berry driven with a savoury and mineral finish. CW raves about Piero, so I believe this would be wine I would like a lot more if it wasn't "outshone" by all the pino's, gamay's, and rieslings during the night (I just prefer these varieties when given a choice).
