This 1999 Bordeaux style blend held up well in my cellar. Locked up, I had to decant it for a considerable amount of time. Dark opaque red, wide rim variation belays it's age, and it was quite possibly at the end. The aromas were distinctly of black currant, smoke and leather. Smoother mouth-feel than I anticipated, with dusty tannins and black fruits. Old-world style from the new-world with a powerful finish.
