Absolutely delicious! Burgundy can be such a mine field but not here. Smokey, twiggy and brimming with bright fruits and fresh herbs. So very refreshing - 2013

Fruity, smooth - exactly what I like. There are wonderful berry notes. Also, there's a light finish and is not as full-bodied as one expects for a four year old red. Personally, I find that to be a sign that the vintner knows what he wants to do with the bottle. We purchased this particular wine from a shop in Paris after falling in love with the story that the vintner is a geologist turned wine maker. It certainly shows that a knowledge of science and soil can go a long way when it comes to making wine!
