The consensus red wine of the night paired perfectly with Waygu skirt steak. Huge mountain fruit, dense and delicious. Black currant, expresso and volcanic earth. Still very coiled but velvet smooth and inviting.

My wine of the night and one of the best wines I've ever had the pleasure to try. The legendary Phillip Togni. He built his wines the old fashioned way - 25 years in the bottle was the plan when it was made and it is absolutely epic right now.
