Philip Lardot
kontakt Müller-Thurgau
Deep. Very slight effervescence. Rich acids. Probably better not in a pint glass but it’s all there was lying around.

Nov 17th, 2021Müller Thurgau, as the name implies, with some skin contact. Not an ‘orange’ wine but stilll maintains a pale straw color. Notes of raw almond and maybe bruised apple. Bone dry. Philip Lardot is the apprentice to Mosel/Riesling genius Ulli Stein. His winemaking style seems to be more experimental or exploratory than Stein’s. I’m loooking forward to trying more of his wines in the future.
