Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a short, cloudy reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, dried figs, vanilla, oak, chocolates, mocha, tobacco, light alcohol, spices and black pepper.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black plums, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, vegetables, pencil lead, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, earth, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with fine tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Napa Valley red blend is very young, but already drinking nicely. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.

Good by itself or with food. A good sipping wine. Needs an hour to open up properly, show some tannins and remove some acidity. Will be better in 3 to 7 years.

As it opens up (3 hours) it gets very earthy, and feels like a South American Cabernet Sauvignon.

A very interesting wine. Not one to drink just yet, as it needs a few years to come to its own. Has a good potential to be a 92+ wine in 5 years time.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Petite Sirah and 30% Syrah. Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels, new and slightly used.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$60.
