Color is light cranberry, with a bit brown and purple note. Clear. Nose of cranberry and blackberry, however fades away quite fast. Taste of similar notes with a twist of sweetness and spice. A bit off balance bittersweetness. Low of nonexistent tannins. Aftertaste is mellow with addition of some subtle acidity, zest, and citrus. Average.

Nose of cran and blackberry, nonexistent to low tannins, pretty cranberry color, sweet and spiced, subtle acidity. Good! Needs aeration though.

Good Pinot for the price from TJs but far short of spectacular. Willamette Valley Pinots are among my favorites and this ones earthiness and red berries improved on day 2. Would buy again based on value but not a favorite PN.

Got from Trader Joe’s for $10. Initial taste was a bit sweet but it dialed down after a few sips. Inexpensive. For $10 it is a good value. Everyday wine. Not good enough for special occasion.

Pleasantly surprised with this simple Pinot for under $10. You can smell the berries up front, and it is light on your palate. Just a touch of a Coca-Cola note at the end.

Maybe not as rich and complex as I might like, but pretty damn good for a $9 pinot noir from TJ's.
