On the palate all the characteristics that make Barossa Shiraz loveable for winter - full bodied red and black fruits, oak not dominating (in this case). Medium minus intensity and tannins - the latter slightly grainy. Overall a well made Barossa Shiraz from an excellent vintage made by Peter Lehmann, known in some circles as the “Godfather of the Barossa “. RIP Peter Lehmann.
