A little nutty, lemony, it runs swiftly to a pleasantly tart finish.

Nice entry-level grower champs. Some toasted bread and strawberries in the nose. Aggressive carbonation, red berries, lemon peel and minerals in the mouth. Slight sense of sweetness, but biting acidity in the mid-palate. Medium-long finish. Great QPR.

Usually you'd expect a little more of a blanc to blanc from Le Mesnil Sur Oger, but this one is the only Pertois with some P.N. in it. It's 50/50 Pinot Noir, Chardonnay. Nice sweet brioche on the nose, citrus, golden pair, apple, and a little fig to the finish, with fine bubbles. It seems to be on the higher end of dosage in the brut catagory, which makes it good for a crowd, and it is very modestly priced for a Champagne.

My first vintage champagne (2008)! Definitely on the more tart side...autolytic characteristics, honey, + sour apple, lemon, underripe fruit perhaps. Very high acid.
