2013 GSM - a strong year for Grenache and blends in McLaren Vale (Barossa too). Red fruits, woody spice, hints of vanilla; soft and velvety entry. Good length to boot.

Bit heavy, but I like it. I haven't had a lot of Grenache and I'm sure I'd like this one much more in a cooler climate. Stormy, sunny summer night isn't quite the right time. Still, rich and lovely.
