pale faded brick verging on brown. stood up 24hrs. double decant 4hrs before service (lots of thick sediment removed), decanted 1hr prior to service. lacking in depth and persistence. I thought the '67 was more interesting and complete. here again a nose of dried tobacco and soy (missing some of the tea and dried fruit that made the '67 interesting). Virtually 0 fruit left on plate here, rendering the acid and tannin a bit out of whack. Not much length. Just an o.k. showing. Hoped for better value here
