Biased Content Warning: like a handful of producers that I post frequently (you know who you are), this wine is made by a friend I've known for years.

First vintage of zin, showing exactly what I love about Amador zin. Bright claret red, mouth-filling but not exactly full bodied, refreshing acidity and food-friendly tannins, and flavors that range from barely ripe to fully mature and just slightly baked.

Cranberry, peach and plum, green peppercorn, fig compote, and the granite and iron-rich clay of Amador. Drinking great now, with enough guts to age a few years. Well done Adam 👏🍒🍑⛰️
