Deep Ruby/ purple in color, with a purplish rim.

Earthy and fruity on the nose with bell peppers, blackberries, plums, wood, smoke, dust, sweet cherries, earth, vanilla, spices and peppercorn.

Full-bodied, but not bold, with medium plus acidity.

On the palate, blackberries, plums, cherries, raspberries, oak, vanilla, earth, tobacco, beef jerky, licorice, vegetables, spices, light cloves and black pepper.

Medium Plus on the finish, with nice tannins and sour cherries.

A nice, everyday Merlot from Chile. Good structure and enough complexity to enjoy it by itself, yet not fully balanced. Good with hearty foods, as well, like stews.
I enjoyed it with a platter of meats and cheeses.

Would really benefit from an hour in a decanter, but not bad right out of the bottle.

13% alcohol by volume.

What a deep ruby color on this Chilean Merlot, almost inky with a purplish rim.

Fruit forward on the nose with blackberries, cherries, strawberries, red currants, vanilla, dark chocolate, licorice, wood and black pepper.

Full bodied and bold with high acidity and great looking legs.

Fruity, yet sour on the palate with cherries, strawberries, red currants, plums, earth, Forest floor, licorice, vanilla, wood and peppercorn.

Nice and satisfying finish with enough tannins to make it interesting, but not too overbearing.

Good right out of the bottle. No decanting needed. Not very balanced, but still very enjoyable dry red wine for every day.

Good by itself or with hearty, saucy foods.

Amazing deal, only $5.95 yet still good. 13.5% alcohol, good taste. Dry, fuller bodied easy on the bank wine for hanging out with your cheap friends. ;)
