Barbera to go with pizza and a plate of grilled calamari. Fab. Good tannins and yet well rounded with acidity and fruit to make it easily drinkable. With the temperature soaring in Rome had to chill the bottle a bit to bring out the best.

Gustaci w Natalie and Tommy. Iffy service, good meatballs and lasagna, potato and salami pizza (Gattò) was the best of the bunch. Overall good night and happy space (though music a bit loud and again, the waiter was poor). And the wine? Sure. It works. Pleasant though not exceptional.
