I agree with others that this is a bit tannic but still balanced. Has a very forward mouthfeel with a punch of flavor the moment it hits your lips. I paired this with Chinese food that consisted of some spicy chicken, fried rice and crab Rangoon. I found that if I chased the chicken with the wine it made it spicier. Wasn't a perfect pairing but was perfect enough for a rainy Friday night after a long week. I would purchase it again.

Sugary sweet nose. We balanced, slightly tannic. Very drinkable, but not great. Still good.
