Rebecca Peacock visited Fort Worth tonight to share some of her family’s wines. I’d never had her wines, but being that they are from Spring Mountain, I was excited to learn more.

In a sweet spot. Umami style. Savory and sweet. Fruit seasoned with grilled herbs. Sweet plum. Grilled blueberry and blackberry medley. Tart cherry filled dark chocolate.

Still young! Cherry tobacco, dark chocolate covered strawberries on the nose. Palate is acidic, Black cherry, licorice, lavender.

Beautiful nose...graphite, tight, currant, blackberries and rhubarb...decanted 3hrs, needs more. Palate is not quite ripe blackberries, crushed rock, herbal.

I wanted to like this because it has good review but I couldn't. The alcohol content is so high that it's pretty much all you can taste. The nose is amazing but the moment the wine hits your mouth, that burning sensation begins.
