A really pretty medium straw color with persistent small bubbles. The nose is just fabulous once it really opens up and expresses itself fully. The obligatory citrus aromas are particularly vivacious here along with buttered brioche. Minerality and moist stone for days. Just a touch of dried herbs to complement the light spice.
Pure Chardonnay from the prestigious village of Mesnil sur Oger. Racy and striking with a bit of profundity going on. Laid down in 2020 and disgorged in June of 2022. Low dosage and highly expressive of the terroir, this sings after a short decant.
