1990 Jaboulet-Aine La Chapelle Hermitage. Dinner w D&M H at Avr. Didn’t decant, but had it standing for a couple of weeks. Still quite a bit of sediment. Really balanced, earthy. Not smoky or meaty.

This was a rough week. Nothing petite about this bottle, just what I needed right now

This is the 2nd wine of La Chapelle @ £60 / €71 👍 Their 1st in 11 is wow & has a big dong like King Kong 🐒 worth the extra £25 👍

👃 Peppered creamy dark cherry, soft smokey pig parp infused oak, blackberry & cured bacon w/ touch of earth, dried purple flower, vanilla & leather

👄 Med body of silky smooth blackberry & dark cherry & olive tepenade

🎯 Med+ blackberry, olive, cherry, earthy silky 🐷 touch dry kissy
