Growing up on a working farm in NY, Paul experienced first-hand the influence of terroir on the character of fruit, his father had him taste apples of the same variety grown in different orchards several miles apart from one another. Spent 9 months in 11% new French oak, Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, tea and spice notes. On the palate juicy blackberry, cherry and strawberry with black tea, tar, cinnamon and citrus notes. Fine tannins, medium(+) finish, ending with fruit, spice and earthy character. Made for current consumption, drink now!

1 person found it helpfulFeb 7th, 2021Very tasty pinot noir. Has some slight carbonic characteristics and some notes of strawberry, oak and vanilla. Very slight tannin and incredibly smooth, clean finish. I should seek out a few more bottles.

Mar 1st, 2021Pretty solid effort here: definitely Pommard in style - faithful rendition, I’ve also had some PN from Willamette Valley like this. Not overdone, graceful, beautiful w/depth of flavors.

Jan 3rd, 2021Another nice weekday find at Harris Teeter. Went well with lamb, and tomato and sausage pasta.
