Rich and expressive wine-mulling spice, candy corn and piney notes. Soft and supple despite its expressiveness on the nose. Pressed blackberries, roasted coconut shavings unraveling into layers of light earth and granite. Impressive, balanced elegance with hints of chocolate describe this inspired finish.

Still developing. Took a while to open up but then it was spectacular!

Wet slate and blueberry marmalade on the front end with a surprising tangy but not unpleasant secondary orange rind flavor. Not doubt about it, this juice is polished and opulent but, in the end, it leaves me yearning for more given the history and acclaim of the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane vineyard. #2011 #vintage > #terroir
