Nose changed from and new world PN to an old world PN. Fun to watch this PN change in the glass.

Can't go wrong.

Wild game and violets on the nose. Supple mouthfeel as it glides across the palate-minerals, spiced candied fruits, cardamom and black cherry fill the entire palate. Smoke and cassis round out the long and layered finish. Decanted for an hour, drinking well!

Mine all mine...thanks @Donald Patz for making this exclusively for Salon Members! One of three bottles-wanted to see how it's drinking, so we opened one. It's wonderful. Slight departure from the 2012 vintage but lacks nothing. Cherry cola on the nose. Toasted vanilla and oak flavors with a finish that makes you think you still have wine in your mouth...wow! Nice job-

I absolutely love how this is drinking now. Forrest floor and mushroom on the nose. Hint of caramel and cocoa as well. Lush, complex with a long distinct finish.

Great match with rich meal. Bold but youthful. Needs a few years. Complex flavors, good acid. Gonna need to buy more.

Deep strawberry, black cherry, and some sage. Plush tannins and a medium full body. Really drinking well.
