May 19th, 2016I've had a few bottles that were thin and a little green. This was surprisingly plush and fresh, plenty of red fruits.

Nov 11th, 2015At the end of its peak, but no worse off. Still ethereal cherry and delicate flowers over roiling meaty dirt. Delicate texture until the finish where the tannins kick in. A touch of oxidation along the edges, but I can't say that was unwelcome with seared strip steak over spelt apricot couscous and spicy yard-long beans with harissa oil.

Jul 4th, 2013Dull ruby with an orange meniscus, medium viscosity. Dried red and blue fruits, meat, leather, tobacco aromas coming through. The tannins were resolved and the wine still had plenty of acidity. Dry wine, medium acidity, medium minus tannins, medium body and alcohol. Long finish with more meaty smoky flavors. Very well balanced and complex. Yum!
