Great aromatics. Mix of fresh and dried red berry with a nice floral lift. Good energy.

Nice meaty smokey beef jerky French bretty thing going, palate is a little one dimensional, might need some time to come into it's own

Big wine, big vintage. On the nose, meaty bloody dark smokiness. In the mouth, bright red and black fruit, a bit of iron and olives, bacon. Good acid, grippy tannins. Long finish. Yum.

Needed more time to open. The Little Hen does not have the best wine glasses so nose was better at home when first opened.

What you expect from a quality Côte rotie. Loads of bloody meat and white pepper. Excellent wine

Good experience - the tannins melted away, taste of tobacco, leather. Nose forest floor and mushrooms
