From the cave to the kitchen. First open from the France trip. Pours purple. Then changes to a very brown red. I don’t want to stop smelling it to even drink it. Light, smooth, slight tartness, subtle berry and maybe currant flavors. Not bold enough for meat or heavier dishes (had with slow-cooked Asian chicken thighs, and it was overpowered a bit). Probably good with a lighter chicken or pork dish. Really nice, though.

Mar 25th, 2019A dance with a partner who looks amazing, but moves like a robot--and I don't mean the cool funky robot.
Served a bit chilled, like most wines in this part of Africa (both white and red), so I took it for a spin on the terrace in the heat of the savanna. Over the course of a two-hour lunch--always recommended--I hoped this would emerge into a soulful or lyrical dancer, but it was a march without passion.
