I think it is average for a merlot. What you would expect. I do have a cold right now though and couldn't get much smell from wine with my stuffy nose. The more sips I took, seemed a bit watery. That might just be the merlot style though. Warmed my tummy!

Let it breath to bring out a bold Cab. A bit dry, full of flavor. Would consider other options next time :(
