Bright grapefruit, hint of ripe pear, minerality, flower petals. Will pair well with alligator to come (Florida dense white meat typically lightly battered and lemoned) and rice pilaf with kale. We’re big festive seafood fans and enjoy traditional and exotic. I’m more of an autumn oak white drinker but appreciate this summery wine for its light and refreshing quality

Dec 23rd, 2018Pear and stone fruit on the nose. Rock. Grey. Pear seed. Pear skin. Straw. Lawnmower blade. It’s nudging towards December but warm in the South here. This tastes like early spring. It’s nice with my cranberry cheddar and crackers. Jazz. I’m usually an Autumn oak drinker but I like this. Willow.
