Nov 17th, 2019This vintage is truly exceptional. Very Burgundian in character with firm tannins and mineral tension. Lovely crunchy red fruit, licorice, violets and crushed rocks. Superb balance and complexity with a seductive nose. This undoubtedly will age for 10 years or more. For the sake of comparison, I find this to be easily as complex as any village level Bourgogne I’ve had, but at about one third the price point. You’d be a fool to ignore that equation! This is the real deal, people. Pascal Granger is making some of the most honest and pure terroir-expressive wines in all of France.

Dark, smooth berry fruits with great acidity and medium body. This is the perfect introductory beaujolais wine. No carbonic noticeable at all. I wish I could put this in the hand of any California Pinot Drinker.
