
6 years past vintage and now well-integrated. Fig and dark berry nose. Weighty blackberry, dark cherry and fig on the palate with velvety tannins and medium acid. 15.5 abv shows a bit the back end, but still enjoyable. Guessing the masses would really like this big juice.

Blueberry, blackberry, fig.higher acidity, medium-high tannins, medium-full bodied, a little hot (at 16.2%). A hint of licorice, maybe some graphite and a fairly long finish. Seems a little out of balance and tougher to pair with food from the higher alcohol level, but overall good wine.
