2024 vintage. Calkarasi is the grape. Pale straw color. Aromas of lime, unripe peach, and a slight funk that I can identify, pickle (?). Moderate amount of bright citrus fruit acidity that stays mostly on top of the tongue with a balanced finish. Really enjoyable.

This Turkish wine is inexpensive and definitely different. My first and likely only Çalkarasi this white wine is a Blanc de Noirs. Very alcoholic in flavor and then some citrus. Not bad but not good either.
