Really enjoyed this one. Cherry and roses on the nose. Rounder and juicier than expected - perhaps I was expecting Barbera d'Asti - with some spice. The acidity is moderate and compliments the fruit. The tannins are smooth. The finish has oak and burnt rubber.

Nose: flower petals, black olives

Taste: violets, red fruit, spice, little bit of tannins. Light body. Almost an effervescence

Cost: $17.99 at JC place.

Overall: not bad. Not sure we'd buy again though.
