Beautiful expression of Puglian Primitivo with all of the even ripeness & balance which Californian Zin only delivers at super-premium prices. Lush bramble fruit concentration from the old bush vines and nice balanced oak make this great value at £10.

Great tasting, full flavoured wine. Lasting, deep forest fruit flavoured on the tongue.

One of the best Primitivos around and specially when on Waitrose offer at £8 or less. Even, smooth and full bodied without any hint of the slightly cooked sense that this varietal sometimes exhibits.

Very nice wine, not quite a 9 +

Gbp 10 at waitrose. Decanted for an hour (just bc we got a decanter). Slight acid nose that sits in the bottom of your stomach. Has the roundness and centred fullness like apple juice but it's wine.

2013: heady black and dried fruit, spicy, lavender and purple flowers. Very dried fruit style, but quite decent. Smooth, crowd pleasing style
