Just pulled this beauty out to help start the holiday weekend right, and I am SOOO glad I did! Dusty earth on the nose gives way to dark chocolate covered cherries on the palate. Smooth finish of baking cocoa and hints of baking spices. So glad I still have another couple bottles for later.

Very smooth and silky mouthfeel. Hints of tobacco and leather, but notes of dark fruits predominate, especially prunes and dried figs. This is a delicious dark fruit-forward wine.
