Jun 24th, 2018Seven year old Albariño with the color or a rich Chardonnay. First notes were pear and fruit which quickly changed to sunflower seeds and sherry. I think this has passed its prime. It was an experiment where I have been saving a lot of Long Island wine. I'm completely convinced that all LI wines need some time to develop. Unfortunately this has lost all characteristics of Albariño and has past its prime.
